The cabinet had sentimental value and the client required a full restoration. The finish was old and perished, there was broken glass panels, the top had split down the length, the backboard was in poor condition and the lining was old and dirty.
It was completeyly restored. Re-polished, new glazing where needed, a new top and lined in a linen moire fabric.
